Sainik Institutes of Management & Technology Punjab are being run under the aegis of Directorate of Defence Services Welfare Punjab with an aim to provide quality education to the Ex-servicemen,widows and their wards in a conducive environment so as to enable them to persue a meaningful career. There is no tuition fee charged for these courses.In this direction, Directorate Defence Services Welfare Punjab has done extensive work in establishing fully equipped Computer Labs,Seminar Halls & Libraries at all the Campuses.Each Institute is headed by an ex Army Officer of the rank of Colonel,who has vast experience in Management & Administration.
